The Work Values Survey is the O*Net Work Importance Locator (O*Net WIL). It helps you learn more about your work values and can help you decide what is important to you in a job. Knowing your work values can help you decide what kinds of jobs and careers you might want to explore.
It has 20 statements and takes about 20 minutes to complete. This is not a timed survey; you can start and restart it as needed.
You will rank different aspects of work that represent six work values: Achievement, Independence, Recognition, Relationships, Support, Working Conditions
There are no right or wrong answers.
You will get scores for each of the six work values. These scores show how important each of the work values is to you.
To complete the Work Values Survey:
- From the My Tracker menu, select Assessment progress.
- Select the Work values tab.
- Select Start New.
- Select Return if you have previously started the interest survey.
- Read the instructions and select Start.
- Click on a card and select the value rank that best describes your feelings: Most Important, Important, Neutral Importance, Less Importance, or Least Importance.
You can change your answers as needed. - Select Save & Exit if you need to leave and return later.
- Select Submit when you have completed the survey.
- Select See Results to view your results.
